Welcome to EDGE FUTURES—where the next generation of champions takes their first big steps on the court.

As the foundational pathway for EDGE, a nationally recognized volleyball club, EDGE FUTURES is designed specifically to inspire and develop young athletes ages 9–12. We build the core skills, athletic confidence, and passion for the game that feed directly into our elite, competitive national teams—all while keeping the game fun, engaging, and accessible.

At the U12 level, volleyball should be about loving the game and mastering the basics, not stressing over a playbook or making a roster cut. While at the same, we are building a foundation for athletes to excel at their next level of progression

PROGRAM INFORMATION

  • Duration: January – April
  • Schedule: 2 days per week (e.g., Sunday & Tuesdays)
  • Capacity: Open enrollment (first-come, first-served)
  • Format: 60 mins of skill-building + 30 mins of organized “wash” drills or scrimmaging.
  • Total Cost: $995 (All-inclusive)

WHAT’S INCLUDED

  • Practice Sessions: Led by CMASS Lead Coach and Staff
  • Player Kit: Jersey, 2 Practice Tee, Hoodie
  • Tournament (3 – 1 Day Events, 1 Two Day Event)

NO TRYOUTS

We believe every child who wants to play deserves the chance to grow within our Futures Program. By eliminating tryouts, we create a high-energy, low-pressure environment that:

  • Reduces Anxiety: Players focus entirely on learning and competing—never on “making the cut.”

  • Builds Community: Friends can play together while being grouped by age or skill level during practices.

  • Fosters Long-Term Success: Athletes who fall in love with the game early are 5 times more likely to keep playing through high school and beyond.
