CMASS Volleyball Coaches
Scott Blanchard
Scott has coached JO’s for over 20 years for CMASS, Sharks, Victors and Crusaders. He has over 18 years of college coaching experience at U of Michigan, Northeastern and is currently at Brown University. Scott’s experience also includes 14 years of varsity high school coaching at Medway H.S. and Trenton (MI) High Schools.
Rachel Callery
Rachel has been a CMASS coach for 5 years. Her coaching experience also includes 1 year at Beantown VB Club and 7 years as a JV/Asst. Varsity Coach at Ashland H.S. and 2 years at Bellingham High School. She played at W.V Wesleyan College for 4 years and has competed overseas. Rachel also plays adult NERVA volleyball and competed in several past national championships.
Christina Cannon
Christina has coached 1 year of JO’s at Mass Premier Sports. She has also coached 3 years at Hardrock summer vb camps, 2 years at UNH summer camps, and 4 years at Milford Middle School. Christina was a 5 year player at Hardrock VB club, and has just completed her 3rd year of intercollegiate play at Wheaton College.
Emily Corbett
Emily is beginning her first year with CMASS. She was the Assistant Coach at Clark University for 1 year, after being a 4 year player, and was selected as a senior captain for the Cougars. In her senior year she was awarded the Pat Hassett Award for being a "game-changer" on and off the court. She played 3 years for Strath Haven High School. Emily also plays adult NERVA volleyball.
Courtney Evans
Courtney is entering her fourth year coaching juniors, and first year coaching for CMASS. Courtney was a four-year starter and senior captain for Tufts University, earning all-conference, all-region, and all-America honors during her career. She also spent two years as an Assistant Coach at Tufts and has worked a number of clinics around the region.
Leo Fahey
Leo is beginning his 8th year as CMASS coach/co-director and is in his third year as the Head Coach at Assumption College. He spent 2 years as Head Coach at WPI, 8 years as Head Coach at Hudson H.S. and was also a JO coach for Sharks and Coastal. Leo has attained his CAP I coaching certification.
Tom Fearing
Tom has coached at CMASS for 5 years. He has over 35 years of experience coaching college and club teams in MA, RI and HI. He has also coached at the URI VB Camp and Columbia University VB Camp. As a player, Tom received many accolades including NE Region Collegiate All-Star and 1st Team All-Star at Haile Invitational(HI). Tom has attained his CAP I coaching certification.
Bob Hofeldt
Bob is beginning his 6th year at CMASS, and has also been Acton-Boxborough’s freshman coach for 7 years. He has run both youth and adult volleyball programs in AB for more than 12 years. Bob has his CAP II coaching certification.
Sarah Hunsucker
Sarah is beginning her 5th year with CMASS and has coached several successful open level teams. She was the Assistant Coach at Clark University for 3 years, after being a 4 year starter, 2 year captain and all-star for the Cougars. She was selected as one of the top 30 NCAA Div. III players in New England her senior year at Clark. Sarah currently competes in adult NERVA tournaments.
Britta Leonard
Britta is beginning her second year coaching for CMASS. She played four years for Souhegan HS. and also for Hardrock VB Club. Britta has competed for 4 years for Assumption College and was selected captain in her final season.
Samantha Lupinski
Sam is beginning her 3rd year with CMASS. She assisted with younger teams while playing at Smash VB club and also assisted at Waltham H.S. She has been a 4 year starter for Assumption College.
Emily Martel
Emily is entering her second year as a CMASS coach, after playing with us for 3 years. In between, she played at Endicott College for 2 years. Emily is currently a player in adult NERVA tournaments.
Sarah McGowan
Sarah has coached at CMASS for 2 years and at Franklin Recreation for 2 years. She has coached at summer camp and various clinics at Franklin H.S. for 3 years. Sarah was a 3 year player at Assumption College.
Pam Rose
Pam has been a coach/co-director at CMASS for 9 years. She has been Varsity Asst/JV Coach at Lincoln-Sudbury RHS for 8 years. Her coaching experience also includes 8 years as head coach at Masspike VB Camp, 4 years at the Fieldhouse VB camps and clinics, and 2 years at Tsunami VB camp. Pam was a 3 year starter and 2 year captain at University of Maryland, and has competed at the national level in both indoors and beach volleyball for over 30 years.
Becca Rose
Becca is entering her 5th year as a coach for CMASS. After playing for us for 4 years, and a 1 year stint with Mass Pats, she became the starting setter for Wheaton College for 4 years, captain her senior year and holds the school record for assists. Becca has also coached at Masspike VB camp for 4 years and Boston College VB Camp for 2 years. She continues to compete in adult NERVA tournaments.
Randle Stock
Randle is joining CMASS after coaching JV for 3 years at Hopkinton High School. She was a 3 time MVP at Hopkinton, went on to play 1 year at Roger Williams and 2 years at UMASS Boston where she was a senior captain. Randle continues to play adult volleyball and has competed at nationals several times. Randle will be spending part of her time as the club photographer.
Courtney Stratton
Courtney has coached at CMASS for 3 years. She also coached Special Olympics volleyball in Hudson, NH and was a 3 year starter and captain for Assumption College. Courtney is currently competing in adult NERVA tournaments.
Stephanie Wichelman
Stephanie is entering her second year coaching for CMASS. She has played for Waschusett Regional and Merrimack Valley VB Club. Stephanie also has played three years for Assumption College.
Jack Wong
Jack is entering his second year with CMASS. He has been the Head Varsity coach and JV coach for Fay School and is an instructor for the Fay Summer Discovery Camp. Jack has coached and played for Boston Knight Chinese Athletic Club’s men’s elite volleyball team.
