Club Teams
Club teams compete against other New England Juniors clubs and the tournament sites are generally within an hour and a half's drive. However, some teams may have to drive to the Cape, CT, RI, NH or even ME. All players are responsible for their own transportation to and from practices and tournaments.
The five tournaments (which begin March 11, 2012) are all day affairs and held on Sundays only. Teams are formed based on age, number of participants and skill level. CMass fields club teams in the 12's, 14's, 15's, 16's and 17's age groups.
Club Tryouts
Club team tryouts are complete for 2011-2012. Teams have been posted and players are being asked to commit to their teams at this time. If additional players are needed to fill vacated spots, they will be contacted individually.
Selecting teams was particularly difficult this year. Players who tried out but were not placed on a team are welcome to register for our in-house program.
Coaches and Practices
Club teams are coached by local collegiate and high school coaches as well as collegiate student athletes.
Practices are 2 hours long, once per week and are held either Saturday or Sunday at Forekicks II in Marlborough. Individual team schedules have been set and are available in the team schedules section of our website.
Expenses
- Total cost per player is $600.00
- $300.00 is due January 7 or 8, 2012 at the team's first practice
- $250.00 due January 21 or 22, 2012
- ($50 tryout fee applied)
